How do I register for Consensus 2019?

What does my registration include?
Registration includes full access to sessions, exhibit hall, meal functions and cocktail receptions.

How do I pick up my badge at the event?
Please bring your printed confirmation email to registration at the Ziegfeld Ballroom from Saturday-Sunday and Sheraton from Monday-Wednesday.

Monday, May 13: 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM on the 2nd floor of the Sheraton New York Times Square
Tuesday, May 14: 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM on the 2nd floor of the Sheraton New York Times Square
Wednesday, May 15: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM on the 2nd floor of the Sheraton New York Times Square

Payment Instructions
Online Registrations completed with credit card and Bitcoin payments are processed immediately. After April 26, 2019, CoinDesk will not accept check or bank transfer payments for the attendee registration.

Promo Codes and Discount Codes
CoinDesk will void promotional and discount codes if the registrant is not the authorized user. Your registration will be “pending” until the appropriate fee has been paid.

Discount and Special Rates
There are no special rates for daily attendance, expo hall only etc. only full conference passes are available. If you register using a special rate that is not applicable to you, you hereby give CoinDesk the right to charge your card for the difference upon notice that CoinDesk does not agree with your selection of the special or discounted rate. All determinations of the discounted/special rates are in the sole discretion of CoinDesk. CoinDesk reserves the right to not provide you with any special rate.

What if I’m unable to attend?
No refunds will be provided for cancellations.

What if I have to transfer my registration?
Requests for transfers must be submitted in writing by April 26, 2019 by emailing registration@coindesk.com. All transfer requests received after April 26, 2019 are subject to a US $200 administrative fee. All transfers/substitutions are subject to an administrative fee after April 28, 2019, plus any additional fees as a result of differences in the attendee type (e.g., transferring the industry tier to a enterprise tier). The individual submitting the substitution request is responsible for all financial obligations (any balance due) associated with that substitution. No refunds will be provided for registrations transferred from enterprise to industry.

Onsite Registration Policies and Procedures
CoinDesk accepts American Express, VISA, MasterCard, cash, corporate/personal/travelers checks or BTC for payment of registration fees. Please note: All registration fees are non-refundable.
Registration materials will be released only to the individual whose name appears on the badge. Photo identification (driver’s license or passport), credit card, or conference registration confirmation (barcode) will be required. Business cards are not an acceptable form of identification. Badges are non-transferable.

Badge Reprint
A US $200 non-refundable fee will be charged to replace a badge for any reason, including lost or stolen badges.

Hotel Reservations and Cancellation Policies
CoinDesk has negotiated special rates for attendees. Hotel accommodations are available exclusively to registered attendees until April 9 if lodging at the Sheraton and April 18 if lodging at the Hilton. You may secure your hotel reservation through May 2019 however, availability will be limited.
After April 18, 2019 availability and pricing cannot be guaranteed.

We Respect Your Privacy
Your name, address, phone number, email address are stored in the bar code on your conference badge. If you allow an exhibitor to scan your badge, you will be releasing your information to that exhibitor. You should consider your name badge barcode as an electronic business card, enabling you to easily provide your information to an exhibitor if you choose to do so.

Video & Photography
Video recording and hybrid events (including webcams, webinars, streaming video content) are prohibited inside the New York Hilton Midtown, Sheraton New York Times Square, & Ziegfeld Ballroom unless you have written permission from the CoinDesk Events Team.
Photographs may not be taken of any booth or product other than your own, except by the press or the official photographer designated by CoinDesk.

Photo/Video Release
By registering for the Consensus 2019 Annual Conference in New York, you acknowledge and accept that photographs or video taken of you by the Consensus or its service providers, may be used for promotional materials of CoinDesk, including but not limited to use in future conference programs or other promotional material, and on the Internet by CoinDesk and its service providers.

Badge Ethics, Counterfeiting & Theft
Only persons registered for this conference and wearing the proper badge will be admitted to the conference. For security and safety reasons, badges must be worn at all times.
Anyone found to be counterfeiting, copying or sharing conference name badges, or using a guest badge when s/he is not eligible for a guest badge, may be subject to sanctions up to and including removal from the conference.

When and where is Consensus 2019?
Consensus 2019 will take place from Monday, May 13 to Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at the New York Hilton Midtown, Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel, and Ziegfeld Ballroom.

Is there a dress code?
The dress code is business or business casual.

Will there be WiFi at the event?
Yes, complimentary wifi will be available to all registered attendees. The wifi network username and password will be printed on the back of every attendee badge.

SPEAKERS & AGENDA

How do I submit a speaker and topic suggestions?
Click here to submit a speaker proposal. The deadline for speaker submissions will close mid-February. Only speakers who are selected will receive a message from a member of the events team as soon as a decision regarding the submission is made. Please note this may take up to 4 weeks.

Where can I find a copy of the current agenda?
